Dr. Sunanda and Dr. Subhash Ranade Foundation

Summary :

The foundation was established on 11 January 2010. The aim of the foundation is to encourage Ayurveda and Yoga activities, Health education and Social welfare around the World. This includes giving support, and financial assistance for various programs of Ayurveda and Yoga as well as Social welfare, to give Awards for the best book on Ayurveda and Yoga and to help programs that help education of public in general by way of lectures and organizing health camps.

Donations for various activities -

  • Rashtriya Shikshan Mandal for Ayurvidya Magazine, Pune – 2 Lakh; 2013
  • Sumatibhai Shah Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Hadpsar for Satyanveshanam Ayurvedic Research Journal– 1 Lakh; 2014
  • Manakarnika Publication for Srujan Chikitsa Magazine, Pune – 1 Lakh; 2012
  • Adharvad Vriddhashram (Residential Institute for Old People), Bhor – Rs. 50,000; – 2016
  • Ayurveda Seva Sangh, Nashik for Amrut Mahotsav Program of Ayurveda Patrika; -75,000; 2021
  • Rs. 10,000 donated to Shri Ram Mandir Trust, Ayodhya, 2022
  • Rs. 75,000 donated to Ayurveda Seva Sangh, Nasik For Amrut Mahotsav Year of Ayurveda Patrika, 2022
  • Rs. 10,000 for Best book of the year 2022-– Principles of Ayurvedic Medicine, By Dr. Marc Halpern, Founder and Director of California College of Ayurveda, Grass Valley, California. Publisher –Harmony is Health Press, Nevada City, California, USA. 2022
  • Rs. 100,000 to Rashtriya Shikshan Mandal for their Centenary Celebration Year, 2023

Dr. Ranade Foundation also gives Rs. 10,000 prize every year for the best book in Ayurveda and Yoga. This is to encourage Authors for writing authentic and scientific Text books on various topics. The Award is also given for public education program conducted by Ayurvedic Physicians.

Till today the foundation has donated Rs.9,40,000 for this philanthropic cause.
